FOUND Headless

Found (vernacular) photography is based on the recovery of abandoned, lost, unclaimed, or discarded photographs.

These photographs would be considered mistakes by most people. The subject’s heads have been left out of the photograph. The resulting image is often amusing and leaves the viewer wondering, on occasion, if it was done on purpose.

It is one of three books, covering the subject of ‘photography mistakes’. The other two are Found Camera Obscured and Found Double Exposures.
